JCCC's Eric Horner Named ABCA/ATEC NJCAA D-I Plains Region Coach of the Year for fourth Consecutive Season
Johnson County Community College head baseball coach Eric Horner has been named the 2026 NJCAA Division I Plains Region Coach of the Year by the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) and ATEC. This marks the fourth consecutive year Horner has earned the prestigious honor. Last year he became the first coach in Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference (KJCCC) and Region 6 history to three-peat.
Sixteen JCCC student-athletes earn CSC Academic All-District® College Division
Sixteen Johnson County Community College student-athletes (9 female, 7 male) were named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) 2026 Academic All-District® Men’s and Women’s College Division At-Large Teams this week.

The postseason honors continue to roll in for the 2026 National Junior College Athletic Association National Champion Johnson County Community College baseball program as a record five players earned American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA)/Rawlings All-America.
Bradford named NJCAA, Perfect Game and ABCA/Rawlings D-I Baseball Player of the Year
One week after being selected NJCAA All-America first-team, Johnson County Community College freshman outfielder Ryan Bradford has been named the 2026 NJCAA Perfect Game and ABCA/Rawlings Division I Baseball Player of the Year.
Groh awarded NJCAA ABCA/Rawlings Gold Glove
The NJCAA recently announced the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA)/Rawlings 2026 Gold Glove Awards and included among the nine winners for 2026 was Johnson County Community College third baseman Logan Groh.
