OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – Makenzie Yoder has been named the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Division II Softball Player of the Week for week three.
Yoder had a big week while helping the 12th-ranked Cavaliers win three of four games against top-tier competition. The sophomore hit .692 for the week with two doubles, a home run, six runs scored, three walks, four stolen bases, and nine RBI. Yoder recorded multiple hits in all four games, including a three-hit game in the back end of a doubleheader with number 22 nationally ranked Iowa Central by going three-for-four with a double and three RBI.
