OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – The Kansas Jayhawk Conference announced its weekly award winners for the seventh week of the season, and Johnson County freshman outside hitter Kylie Gregory was named the KJCCC D-II Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week.
Gregory tallied 27 digs while helping Johnson County to a pair of blowout victories. She recorded 11 digs in a 3-0 sweep over Labette, and capped the week with 16 digs in a 3-0 win over Independence, tying her season high in a match.
Gregory is currently third on the team with 136 digs. She also has 71 kills and 15 service aces.
