OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – For the third time this season, Johnson County Community College sophomore libero Addyson Mock has been selected the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference (KJCCC) Division II Defensive Player of the Week. She first earned the honor in week four, followed by week seven and now week 10.
This past week, Mock was exceptional again this week for the Lady Cavaliers. Her serve receive was clean, and her effort defensively was outstanding. Mock tallied 61 total kills over the three matches, an average of 5.8 per set. Her 23-dig effort in the win over Lincoln Land was her fifth-highest match total this season.
Mock currently ranks second in the conference and 19th in the NJCAA with 550 digs, and her digs-per-set of 4.87 ranks fourth in the KJCCC D-II standings. Her 550 digs this season currently stand 12th on JCCC all-time season chart.
