Emma Stanwix is an extremely hard work and a big-time hitter … Should provide JCCC with some big at bats and be a key run producer this spring … Will see action at both catcher and third base in 2020.

Freshman Year 2021

Played in 39 games, 38 as a starter … Batted .333 (31-for-99) with five doubles, a triple, four home runs, 22 runs and 27 RBI … Collected seven multiple-hit and eight multiple-RBI games … Opened the season with a single, double, two runs and an RBI in a 12-0 win over Marshalltown in the season opener (2-26-21) … Had two singles, a home run and drove in five runs in an 18-15 loss to State Fair (3-13-21) … Followed with a triple, homer and four RBI in an 8-0 win over Allen (3-19-21) … Opened a double header at Allen with a single, home run and two RBI in a 6-1 win (4-18-21) … Belted a two-run homer in the second game to help JCCC to a 10-9 win over Red Devils … Has three hits, with two doubles and drove in three runs in a 15-2 win at Hesston (4-29-21).

Freshman Year 2020
Played and started in four games … Batted .333 (4-for-12) with two doubles, three runs and three driven in … Had a single, a walk, scored a run and drove in two in an 11-4 win over North Iowa Area (3-7-20) … Went 3-for-3 with a double, two runs scored and an RBI in a 10-1 win over Allen (3-10-20) ...  Was perfect in the field with 29 putouts and four assists ... Earned JCCC student-athlete academic honors in the fall 2019 semester with a 4.0 GPA ... Earned NJCAA All-Academic first-team with a grade point average of 4.0.

Was a three-year starter and four-year letter winner  for coach Lee Ice at Lawrence Free State High School, Lawrence, Kan. … Graduated 2019 … Earned second-team Kansas 6A All-State at catcher as a junior… Was a three-time All-Sunflower League selection, earning honorable mention as a sophomore and senior and second-team as a junior ...
