Jackson Galloway selected KJCCC Co-Baseball Player of the Week

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – Johnson County freshman outfielder Jackson Galloway was one of two players to be selected as the Kansas Jayhawk Conference Baseball Player of the Week for week 13. He was the co-recipient with Kansas City Kansas third baseman Palmer Hutchison. KCKCC right-hander Gabriel Ramos was chosen the Pitcher of the Week. 

Galloway batted .440 (11-for-25) with two triples, two home runs, 10 runs scored and 15 driven in for the Cavalier last week.  He had multiple-hits in five of the seven games, and three multiple-RBI games, including five driven in at Neosho County and six RBI against Metropolitan. For the season, Galloway is batting .437 (59-for-135) with ranks fourth in the conference. 

Galloway opened the season with a 28-game hitting streak, the second longest in team history. He has collected at least one hit in 37 of the team's 39 games so far, and he has 19 multi-hit games. He batting .438 this season (60-for-137) with 15 doubles, four triples, eight home runs, 53 runs scored and 53 driven in. 

The Lee's Summit native was also selected the KJCCC Player of the Week in week five.
