OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – Johnson County Community College pitcher Josiah Golden has been selected the National Junior College Athletic Association Baseball Pitcher of the Week for week 14. Earlier this week he was named the Pitcher of the Weed by the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference.

Last week, the sophomore right-hander became the all-time victory leaders in JCCC baseball history collecting his 20th victory last Thursday in a 10-0 win over Fort Scott. Golden scattered four hits and walked two as part of five-inning shutout with four strikeouts. The win allowed him to improve to 10-2 on the season to become the first pitcher to post two 10-win seasons in program history. Golden also tied a career record making his 29th start in a Cavaliers uniform.
