Cavaliers sweep Highland in conference opening series

The image shows a group of baseball players gathered on the pitching mound during what appears to be a mound visit or mid-inning meeting. The players are wearing white uniforms with navy and yellow accents, including striped socks and caps featuring the same color scheme. A coach or staff member, dressed in a blue pullover and gray pants, stands among them, seemingly leading the discussion.
In the foreground, the pitcher and several infielders are positioned around the mound, while a catcher wearing protective gear stands nearby, holding a mitt. Another player on the right side is holding a baseball, possibly preparing to take over pitching duties or returning the ball to play.
The setting is a well-maintained baseball field with a brown turf mound and green artificial turf surrounding it. In the background, a large scoreboard is visible, displaying game information such as balls, strikes, outs, hits, and runs. The scoreboard includes the text “HOME OF THE CAVALIERS” and a NJCAA logo, indicating this is the home field of a team known as the Cavaliers. Behind the scoreboard, leafless trees suggest the photo may have been taken in early spring or late fall.
Overall, the image captures a typical in-game strategy conference on the mound with players and a coach focusing on the next play.
