OVERLAND PARK, Kan. - The top-ranked Johnson County Community College baseball team continued its dominant run on Saturday, completing a four-game series sweep of Allen County Community College with a pair of wins at home to extend its winning streak to 22 games and improve to 38-2 overall.

Game one proved to be the most competitive of the series, as the Cavaliers outlasted Allen in a high-scoring 12-11 battle. JCCC's offense piled up 15 hits and showed resilience throughout, answering multiple Allen rallies.

After building an early lead with five runs over the first two innings, the Cavaliers saw Allen surge back with a four-run sixth inning to take the lead. JCCC responded in the bottom of the seventh, plating four runs to walk it off and secure the victory.

Logan Groh powered the offense with a four-RBI performance, including a home run, while Ryan Bradford added a two-run homer and reached base five times. Boston Bruce contributed three hits and two RBI, and Brayden Giesler delivered a walk-off three-run home run in bottom of the seventh to complete the comeback.

On the mound, Keston Holman earned the win in relief, closing the door over the final 1.2 innings.

The Cavaliers carried that momentum into game two and left no doubt, rolling to a 16-0 shutout victory to cap the sweep.

JCCC erupted for five runs in the first inning and never looked back, adding two more in the second and five in the third to put the game out of reach early. The offense remained relentless, finishing with 12 hits and six walks.

Bradford continued his standout day, going 3-for-4 with three RBI, while Giesler added a home run and drove in two. Coonradt also went deep as the Cavaliers showcased their power throughout the lineup and Trent Cornell provided a big swing with a grand slam in the bottom of the six to make it a 16-0 victory.

On the mound, Victor Christal was dominant, tossing five shutout innings while striking out 10 and allowing just two hits. The bullpen combination of Brett Pearcy and Lance Alexander completed the shutout, limiting Allen to just two hits on the day.
