Logged eight innings with nine strikeouts and an ERA of 5.63 … Made his college debut at Amarillo with an inning of relief, allowing one off one hit with a strikeout (2-2-25) … Allowed one runs off three hits with a strikeout over one inning in an 11-6 win at Crowder (2-8-25) … Allowed one hit, zero runs and struck out a batter in an inning of relief in a 13-2 win a Iowa Western (2-28-25) … Walked two but did not allow a hit or a run and struck out three in an inning pitched in a 5-2 loss to Metropolitan (3-11-25) … Pitched an inning of scoreless relief with a strikeout in an 8-7 win over Kansas City Kansas (3-29-25) … Hurled another scoreless inning of relief in an 18-3 win at Metropolitan (4-15-25) … Hurled a perfect inning with two strikeouts in a 15-4 win over Baker JV (4-21-25) ... Was a two-year starter and three-time letter winner for coach Brian Mitchell at Iowa City High School, Iowa City, Iowa … Graduated 2024 … Rated the No. 38 overall player in the state of Iowa and No. 10 right-handed pitcher by Prep Baseball Report in 2024 … Rated as the No. 15 overall recruit and No. 5 right-handed pitcher in Iowa by Perfect Game … Helped the Little Hawks qualify for the Iowa 4A State Tournament all three varsity seasons … His sophomore year they reached the semifinals before falling 6-4 to Dowling Catholic … As a junior he ripped a two-out double to drive in three runs in the bottom of the seventh inning  to cut Iowa City’s deficit to two in an eventual 9-7 loss to Ames, finishing with a 30-13 record …  … The Little Hawks returned to the 4A State Tournament his senior year and finished with a 31-7 record … Trailing 6-0 in the bottom of the sixth against defending state champion Johnston, he stepped in and delivered a two-out, opposite-field double to right, clearing the bases in the bottom of sixth to pull Iowa City to with three runs … Hit .333 with 21 hits, five doubles, 12 runs and 15 RBI as a junior, and was 4-2 on the mound with 38 strikeouts and an earned run average of 1.80 … As a senior batted .254 with 16 hits, three doubles, a home run, 10 runs and 20 RBI … On the bump was 3-2 with 34 strikeouts and ERA of 2.50 … Was 4-2 with 24 strikeouts as a sophomore … Also earned a varsity letter in track and golf … Honor roll student.
