Member of a Johnson County  team that will be regarded as one of the greatest teams in college baseball history … Helped the Cavaliers to a perfect 32-0 conference championship season, a program-record 41-game winning streak, a Region 6/District title and the first JUCO World Series National Championship in program history, finishing with a remarkable 67-3 overall record … Made 15 appearances all in relief … Finished 1-0 with 32 strikeouts and only 12 walks over 19 innings with an earned run average of 3.32 … Allowed only seven earned runs and held batters to an average of .157 … Made his debut in a 20-9 win over Amarillo in the second game of the season, pitching the third and fourth innings while allowing two hits, two runs, walks with four strikeouts to earn the victory (2-2-26) … Allowed a hit with a strikeout in a one inning of relief in a  10-3 win over Metropolitan (2-13-26) … Gave up a hit and walk over 1.1 innings with three strikeouts in a 11-1 loss at Iowa Western (2-27-26) … Retired the side in the final inning of a 22-2 drubbing at Highland (3-5-26) … Allowed two hits, one run over 2.2 inning with two strikeouts in a 12-8 win over Coffeyville (3-12-26) … Had three straight appearances without allowing a hit or a run begging with perfect inning and two strikeouts in a 20-0 win oat Neosho County (3-28-26) … Followed with another perfect inning in a 12-5 win at Allen (4-2-26) … Walked three batters over 2.1 innings, but did not allow a hit or run and struck out four in a 13-2 win over Southwestern (4-11-26) … Gave up a run on two hits over two innings with three strikeouts win at 13-3 win at Fort Scott (5-1-26) … Struck out all four batters faced in a 19-7 win over Garde City in the opening game of the Region 6/Plains District Tournament (5-7-26) .. Did not allow a hit or run in an inning of work in a 13-4 win over Cloud County in the tournament (3-15-26) … Later that evening struck out the only batter faced in JCCC’s comeback walk off 11-9 win over Barton (5-15-26).
