LaForge earns CoSIDA Academic All-America® At-Large honor
August 03, 2021Johnson County Community College volleyball player Rylie Barnum was named to the 2020-21 COSIDA Academic All-America® College Division Women's At-Large team as voted on by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). She was one of five to be selected for the honor. -

April 28, 2021Two weeks after helping lead the Johnson County Community College volleyball to national championship, sophomore hitters Mikayla Powell and Gracie LaForge were named to the 12-player NJCAA Division II All-America first-team. -
JCCC takes down No. 2 Parkland to win NJCAA D-II Volleyball national championship
April 16, 2021The Johnson County Community College volleyball team completed its amazing run through the NJCAA Division II Tournament with a 3-1 (25-15, 22-24, 25-18, 25-19) victory over No. 2 seed Parkland College in the national title match Thursday night at Alliant Energy Powerhouse Arena in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. -

April 15, 2021For the fifth time in the team history, and third time under head coach Jennifer Ei, the Johnson County Community College volleyball team will be playing for the NJCAA Division II national championship. -
JCCC volleyball advances to national semifinals
April 14, 2021The Johnson County volleyball team had played three-set matches only twice all season, the first and last matches of the regular season, both victories. They added two more in the first two games of the 2021 NJCAA Division II National Tournament at Alliant Energy Powerhouse Arena in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, downing Pima Community College and Kirkwood Community College. -
JCCC sweeps final volleyball player of the week honors
April 08, 2021The final Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference weekly honors for the 2020-21 volleyball season were announced earlier this week, and Johnson County swept all three. Sophomore Mikayla Powell was the Offensive Player of the Week. Sophomore Kallie Fenscke was the Setter of the Week and sophomore Makenzie Griffel was the Defensive Player of the Week -
Seven JCCC volleyball players selected all-conference

Johnson County earns No. 4 seed in NJCAA D-II Volleyball Tournament
April 07, 2021The seedings and bracket has been set for the 2020-21 NJCAA Division II Volleyball Championship and Johnson County Community College will enter the tournament as the No. 4 seed overall. The tournament has a field of 16 teams, and all matches will be played at the Alliant Energy Powerhouse Arena in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Tuesday through Thursday, April 13-15. -
JCCC volleyball team headed to the NJCAA D-II National Tournament
April 04, 2021The Johnson County Community College volleyball team is headed to the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division II National Tournament. The Lady Cavaliers swept both Coffeyville and Kansas City Kansas to win the NJCAA Region VI/Plains District A Championship, and punch their ticket to Alliant Energy Powerhouse Arena in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, site for this year’s national tournament. The tournament will take place April 13-15. -

March 27, 2021The 5th-ranked Johnson County volleyball team won three matches in three days this past week to secure the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Division II championship for the first time since 2015. This is program’s 22nd title in team history, and third under head coach Jennifer Ei. -

March 22, 2021The sixth-ranked Johnson County volleyball team extended their current win streak to six straight matches with a 3-1 win at Neosho County on Saturday afternoon. JCCC won the first two sets 25-17 and 25-23 and fourth set 25-16 to claim the victory. -

Volleyball team sweeps Labette, takes over first in conference race
March 08, 2021The Johnson County volleyball team improved to 11-1 on the season and to 10-1 in the Kansas Jayhawk D-II Conference with a 3-0 sweep over Labette (1-12/1-11) on Saturday at JCCC Gymnasium. In addition, the Lady Cavaliers took over sole possession of first-place in the conference race after Highland was upset by Kansas City Kansas on Saturday. -
JCCC volleyball team improves to 9-1 with a win over KCKCC
March 04, 2021The Johnson County volleyball team, ranked fourth in NJCAA Division II, improved to 9-1 on the season with a 3-1 win over Kansas City Kansas, Tuesday evening. JCCC won the first, third and fourth sets by the scores of 25-23, 25-20 and 25-23. KCKCC won the second set 25-22. -
Volleyball team sweeps Cowley, and improve to 7-1 overall

JCCC moves into the top 10 nationally then downs No. 18 KCKCC
February 02, 2021– On Monday afternoon, the Johnson County Community College volleyball team jumped four spots in the NJCAA D-II poll from No. 11 to No. 7, and that evening they proved their lofty ranking with a 3-1 road victory over No. 18-ranked Kansas City Kansas Community College. -

January 19, 2021In accordance with Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference and Johnson County Community College guidelines, the Ottawa University JV at JCCC exhibition match scheduled for January 23rd has been cancelled, and the JCCC at Neosho County Community College season opening match on January 25th have been postponed due to COVID-19 protocols. -
