OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – Johnson County women's soccer forward Ashton Owen and goalkeeper Brandon McGaugh were selected as the Kansas Jayhawk Conference Division I Men's Soccer Player and Goalkeeper of the Week for week two. 

Owen led Johnson County to a pair of road victories last weekend, scoring the first goal in a 2-0 victory at Southwestern Illinois, and the first goal in a 2-1 win at Lewis & Clark. He has scored a goal in all three JCCC victories this season. 

Johnson County freshman goalkeeper Brandon McGaugh held Southwestern Illinois scoreless to help lead the Cavaliers to a 2-0 victory. McGaugh recorded three saves on three shots faced to earn his second career shutout.
