OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – The No. 9-ranked Johnson County men's soccer team pulled out a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Pratt in KJCCC D-II action Saturday at the JCCC Soccer Complex.

The Cavaliers struggled to generate scoring chances in the first half, managing just two shots on goal over the opening 45 minutes. But after halftime, they flipped the script, firing 15 shots—including seven on frame. Freshman forward Khoi Woods finally broke through in the 52nd minute, finishing off a feed from sophomore Phillip Mutantika for the game's lone goal.

Freshman goalkeeper Daniel Wozniak anchored the Cavaliers defensively, recording seven saves to earn the shutout. With the win, Wozniak improved to 4-2-0 on the season while lowering his goals-against average to 0.83. Three of his four wins have been clean sheets.

Johnson County (record) now turns its attention to a road trip to Lincoln, Neb., on Wednesday to face Southeast, before returning home to host rival Kansas City Kansas on Saturday night at 7:30 p.m.
