OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – The No. 12-ranked Johnson County Community College men's soccer team rallied twice from one-goal deficits to earn a 2-2 tie against Southeast Community College in a non-conference matchup Wednesday night at the JCCC Soccer Complex.

Southeast struck first in the ninth minute off a corner kick, but JCCC answered just before halftime. Freshman defender Jarrett Pecher set up sophomore forward Marco Hernandez, who dribbled left and fired a left-footed shot into the upper right corner to even the score at 1-1.

The Bobcats regained the lead just 26 seconds into the second half when Marcus De Leon delivered an unassisted strike, putting Southeast ahead 2-1.

The Cavaliers fought back once again in the 75th minute, as Pecher collected his second assist by finding sophomore forward Tannier Poirier, who buried the equalizer to knot the match at 2-2.

Both teams pressed for a winner in the closing minutes, but strong goalkeeping on both ends preserved the draw.
