OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – For the second time this season, Johnson County sophomore goalkeeper Cole Stewart has been named the Kansas Jayhawk Conference D-I Goalkeeper of the Week.  He shares this week's honor with Eric Zalaya of Dodge City. Stewart first earned the honor in the third week and was also named the NJCAA National D-I Goalkeeper of the Week. 

This past week, Stewart saved seven of the eight shots he faced to help preserve a 3-1 home victory over Neosho County. Stewart ranks third in goals against average (0.75), second in save percentage (.864) and ninth in total saves (19).  

Johnson County has had a player earn a weekly honor in five of the six weeks this season. Sophomore forward Alan Lopez was the week one Offensive Player of the Week. Sophomore Brandon McGaugh has also been selected the KJCCC keeper of the week on two occasions, earning the honor in weeks four and five.
