OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – Johnson County Community College sophomore Aidan Wing was tabbed the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Division II Men's Basketball Player of the Week for week eight after leading the No 3-ranked Cavaliers to a 92-87 overtime victory at Southeast last week, keeping the Cavaliers record perfect at 14-0.

Wing delivered a season-high 27 points to pace the Cavaliers. He connected on 10-of-20 shots and was a perfect 7-for-7 at the free throw line. He nearly recorded a double-double, finishing with nine rebounds, while also adding two assists and two steals.

At the halfway point of the season, Wing ranks fourth in the league in the scoring (18.1), third in field goal percentage (59.1%) and fifth in the free throw percentage (80.5%).  He has scored in double figures in 13 of 14 games.
