Wing earns second KJCCC D-II Player of the Week honor

OVERLAND PARK, Kan.  – For the second time this season Aidan Wing has been named the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Division II Player of the Week, earning the week 13 award.  He was first selected in week eight.

The sophomore guard averaged 15.0 points per game while shooting 58 percent from the field and pulling down 6.5 rebounds per contest to help power the No. 3-ranked Cavaliers to victories over No. 23 North Central Missouri and Highland. The wins kept Johnson County's perfect season intact, improving the Cavaliers to 24-0 overall.

On the year, Wing leads the team and ranks fifth in the conference in scoring at 15.7 points per game. He also ranks third in the conference in field goal percentage, converting 55.6 percent of his attempts. Wing has scored in double figures in 20 of JCCC's 25 games this season, the most on the team.
