Kenney Glassford is a left-handed batter who can hit for power, but also brings some great versatility to our pitching staff … Will be an impact hitter in the lineup and throw some important innings for JCCC this spring … Has potential to see some time in the outfield as well.

Helped Johnson County win Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Division II and Region 6/Plains District Championships, place in a tie for ninth at NJCAA Division II World Series and finished the season with a 39-13 record … Named All-KJCCC Division II and All-Region 6 Division II first-team … Also selected KJCCC Division II Freshman of the Year, becoming the ninth player in program history to earn that honor … Voted the KJCCC Division II Softball Player of the Week four times during the season, earning the honor in week six, seven, eight and 10 … Played in 50 games, 48 as a starter … Batted .436 (65-for-149) with 18 doubles, six triples, 13 home runs, 32 walks, 55 runs scored and 64 runs driven in … Produced 19 multiple-hit and led the team with 19 multiple-RBI games, which tie for second most in a season in program history …. Led the team with 37 extra base hits, which ranks fourth all-time in program history … Tied for second on the team with 10 sacrifices … Her 32 walks rank fifth for a season all-time,  her18 doubles tie for 20^th on JCCC’s season chart and ranks 27^th in runs scored for a season … Led the conference in walks and triples, ranked second in the conference in extra base hits, on base percentage and slugging percentage, fifth in home runs, runs scored and RBI,  sixth in batting average and tied for seventh in doubles … Nationally ranked 22^nd in slugging, 28^th in triples, 32^nd in extra base hits and 39th in on base percentage … Her first collegiate hit was a single in a loss to Lamar State-Port Arthur (2-13-26) … The next day got her first extra base hit with a double in a 5-2 win over Coastal Alabama-South (2-14-26) … Delivered the game-winning blow, lacing a double to drive in a run to secure a 5-4 walk off victory in the 11^th inning in the opening game against Iowa Central (2-24-26) … Ripped a two-run triple in the bottom of the second to give JCCC the lead in an eventual 9-6 win over the Tritons in game two of the twin bill (2-24-26) … Went 2-for-3 with a double, a triple, a walk, two runs scored and an RBI in a 5-2 victory over Southwestern Illinois (3-7-26) … Drew a bases loaded walk to score a run in the first inning and tripled down the left field line to drive in a run in the second helping JCCC to 21-0 blowout over Fort Hays Tech Northwest in the opening game of a doubleheader (3-19-26) … Also pitched two innings of no-run ball for JCCC in relief, allowing no hits, one walk with four strikeouts … Powered JCCC offense in a 9-1 win over Barton in the first game driving in four runs on four hits (3-20-26) … Set the tone early with a solo home run in the first inning, added a two-run double in the second and capped the game with an RBI single in the sixth … Stayed hot the second game once again giving JCCC an early lead with a solo homer in the first, then tripled and scored in a third, had a sacrifice fly RBI in the fourth and an RBI groundout in the fifth to finish 2-for-3 with two runs and three RBI in a 8-0 victory over the Cougars (3-20-26) … That concluded a big week which she hit .688 (11-for-16) over six games with three doubles, two triples, two home runs, 11 runs and 10 RBI earning the week six KJCCC D-II  and NJCAA D-II Player of the Week award … Helped lead the Cavaliers to six victories the next week with doubleheader sweeps over Labette, Cloud County and St. Louis with nine hits in 17 at bats, three doubles, eight runs and 11 RBI over the week earning her second KJCCC Player of the Week honor … Began the week going 5-for-6 with a double, four runs and five RBI in a conference sweep at Labette (3-26-26) … Followed with a single, a double, two runs and three RBI in an 11-2 win over Cloud County (3-28-26), and capped the week with a 2-for-3 performance with a double, two runs and three driven in to lead the Cavaliers to a 6-4 victory over St. Louis (3-29-26) … That was the start to a season-long 10-game hitting streak … Delivered a massive offensive performance in doubleheader sweep over Cowley (4-2-26) … Opened the series going 4-for-4 with a home run, two doubles, four runs and five RBI in a 14-0 five-inning shutout, and then continued her standout day with two more doubles and a solo homer and two runs scored in a 12-6 victory … That effort earned her the KJCCC D-II Player of the Week for a third consecutive time … Belted a three-run home run to break the game open in a 9-0. Win over Highland in the series opening game, (4-9-26) … Carried that momentum into game two blasting her second homer of the day – a three-run shot, and would finish the game 2-for-3 with four RBI in the 5-0 victory over the Scotties … Had another big series in a pari of 8-0 victories against Fort Scott opening with a double, a home run, two RBI and two runs scored, followed by another two-hit game that included a triple, a homer, two runs and three driven in (4-16-26) … Was named the KJCCC D-II Player of the Week for the fourth time following that series … Ended the streak with a single, a walk, two runs and two RBI in a 12-0 win at Coffeyville (4-21-26) … Hit .588 (20-for-34) over the 10-game streak with seven doubles, one triple, seven home runs, five walks, 19 runs and 26 RBI … During the streak belted a home run if five straight games … In the Cavaliers’ 9-8 win over Allen in the opening game, Glassford hit for the cycle and sealed the win in unforgettable fashion, blasting a two-run walk-off home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to cap a four-hit, three-RBI effort (4-25-26) … The cycle is the just the second ever recorded in program history … Belted a solo home run to tie the game at 1-1 in an eventual 6-5 walk off victory over Cowley in the Region 6/Plains District Tournament semifinal (5-9-26) … Helped lead the Cavaliers to an 8-6 win over Cuyahoga at the NJCAA D-II World Series with a two-run blast in the third inning and bases loaded walk in the sixth (5-21-26) … JCCC Student-Athlete Academic Award Winner with a 4.0 GPA.
